We carry out residential structural survey and commercial survey in Hungerford. Hungerford is a town which is situated in Berkshire
Heading west on the A4 from Newbury is the market town of Hungerford not far from junction 14 of the M4 with surrounding villages of Leverton, Eddington, Lower Denford, Cold Harbour and North Standen in west Berkshire. Hungerford is twinned with Liqueil in Indre-et-Loire in France and has the lovely Kennet and Avon Canal running through the town which was established in 1810. The town is known for its Hocktide or Tutti-Day which is the second Tuesday after Easter and is where the Bellman/Town Crier calls the Commoners to the Court, two Tutti-men knock on almost one hundred house doors which have common rights and in the past would have collected the head penny then carry on to Court to discuss matters relating to the Town and Manor. The town's position on the London to Bath road made it an important location in the past with many coaching inns, stables and blacksmiths and has delightful timber framed buildings and is a town we frequently visit to carry out both residential and commercial building surveys.

This ensures that you get expert advice on any issues that we may find with the property we are surveying. All our surveyors are members of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors - RICS - and are Independent Surveyors. Being 'independent' means that they are working for you and you alone; they do not work for a mortgage company or an estate agents, so they have your best interests at heart.
All our survey contain lots of images, clearly showing any problems that we have identified at the property such as woodworm, rising damp or cracking to the walls. We also use sketches in our survey which are aimed at helping you to understand how certain areas are constructed or to help show more clearly a problem that we have identified. You will also find lots of definitions of any building terminology that we may use in our survey, as we firmly believe in 'Plain English' and really want you to fully understand what we are saying in the survey report.
