We carry out residential structural survey and commercial survey in Kessingland. Kessingland is a town which is situated in Suffolk.
Just south of Lowestoft is the village of Kessingland. Its large unspoilt sandy beach is undiscovered in comparison to neighbouring busy seaside resorts and so is a relaxing spot although it is a popular venue for caravan and camping holidays.
Kessingland is a small charming village close to Lowestoft and is one of our Surveyors favourite places to carry out Building Surveys.
Historically it is the site of many Palaeolithic and Neolithic finds and there is also a ancient forest that lies at the bottom of the sea. Kessingland was supposedly the richest village in England during Medieval times.
Kessingland is the UKs most easterly village and today it is a favourite holiday destination with miles of sandy beaches. The beaches are famously protected by the Marram Grass planted by the famous writer Sir Henry Rider Haggard. He realised the problem of sea corrosion in the 19 th century and planted the grass to protect his home on the beach.
On the outskirts of the village is the Africa Alive safari park. Kessingland also has a small selection of shops, pubs and a restaurant on the beach.
At the end of the day our Surveyors always enjoy sampling the local produce and the friendly hospitality on offer.
