We carry out residential structural survey and commercial survey in Waltham Abbey. Waltham Abbey is a town which is situated in Essex.
Waltham Abbey is mostly associated with its magnificent Abbey which is the fourth church on the site, the existing church being built in the early 12 th century with some additions in the 14 th century and the erection of the tower at the west end in 1556. The first church built on the site is recorded as being in the 6th Century therefore the Abbey has a rich history which you can read about on one of the many websites including the fact that it was the last church to be dissolved by Henry VIII in 1540. In the 1500's the town opened the Gun Powder Mills which closed after the Second World War to become a research centre for explosives which then closed in the 1990's and is now a Gunpowder Mills Museum . Some of the site has since been redeveloped as housing.
